The Mac 440 rescue specification boat has been designed, built and Certified to meet class C and D of the new RCDII 2013/53/EU (recreational Craft Directive) CE standard in August 2016 by Rolf Eidt official inspector and certification assessor for CEproof New Zealand LTD. All new RCDII changes and all ESR changes have been applied. These boats are used globally to provide a cost effective, durable and dependable rescue craft.
The Boats feature an increased freeboard height for safer passenger security, twin rear boarding platforms and complete grab rope around the Hull.
Seating can be configured to any requirements to allow for passenger numbers or rescue stretchers.
The pontoon hull is fully foam filled (polyurethane closed cell) for additional buoyancy and to conform to international class requirements.
A range of high visibility safety colours are available to meet required specification. This colours will not fade, crack or break down in UV sunlight and is impregnated through out all the materials used for manufacture.
The polyethylene used in manufacturing Mac Boats is impervious to corrosion, chemical break down, petroleum and the harsh marine environment. Polyethylene has in impact strength 5 times greater than fiberglass, and every Mac Boat produced is impact tested and ultra sounded to surpass the highest quality control standards.
